Sree Ramanavami celebrates on Chaitra Sukla Navami.Sree Rama was born on this day and years later on the same day Rama married Sita. Every year we celebrates sree sita rama kalyanam as a grand way. Veeda panditha come to perform pooja and scholars, followed by site rama pattabhishakam and pooja mandapam is decorated colorfully. The hole day played devotional songs to get festival environment.
In the after noon session there is a traditional sit down vindu bhojanam and more over 5000 people participated in the event. This is followed by cultural events such as songs and some times Hari-katha.
We celebrates sree ramanavami sambaram in the evening, people offering pooja then genji krishna swaminaidu start the event. People enjoying the event with dance, music, kolatam , rama bhajana. Really it is a great event in our village.
